Terms of Service

The Lucky Escape is a consumer brand operated by Wildside Media, a company based in the United Kingdom. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Wildside Media. “You” means anyone who uses the website or services.

The Lucky Escape is a discovery and curation platform for travel and lifestyle giveaways. We surface and organise listings so you can find opportunities more easily. We do not run, sponsor, or administer giveaways ourselves.

When you choose to enter a giveaway, you leave our site and complete entry on the third-party sponsor’s website or platform. We are not responsible for how sponsors run their promotions, select winners, or fulfil prizes.

The public feed — curated giveaway listings, save/enter tracking, and our Friday email — is free to use with a registered account.

Hidden Gems is a paid membership for a catalog of harder-to-find giveaways not shown on the free public feed (for example social and niche finds that typically attract fewer entries than widely shared sweeps). Membership does not make those promotions exclusive, and does not guarantee entry into any specific promotion or any particular outcome.

New members may be offered a one-time 7-day introductory period for £1 (UK) or $1 (US), after which membership renews annually at £29/year (UK) or $39/year (US) unless you cancel before renewal. The introductory offer is not available to existing or former members, who rejoin at the annual rate.

You can cancel membership at any time from your account Settings. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of your current paid period.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By starting a paid membership or trial, you also agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy notice. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.

Giveaways are promotional competitions run by third parties. Outcomes are random or subject to each sponsor’s rules. We curate listings; we do not promise that you will win, that odds are favourable, or that any listing will remain open or unchanged.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content from the service without permission
• Attempt to bypass access controls or membership gates
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us or any sponsor
• Use the service in any way that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful to others

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms.

The The Lucky Escape name, branding, site design, editorial copy, and curated presentation are owned by or licensed to Wildside Media. Giveaway images, sponsor names, and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit our content without written permission, except as allowed by applicable law.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildside Media is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, your reliance on any listing, or your interaction with third-party sponsors.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
